Six years ago, while I was working as a computer technical support specialist, the idea of venturing into the world of software development began to take root in my mind. It all started with some basic bash scripts that I playfully crafted, and to my surprise, I found immense joy in creating these tiny pieces of software. This newfound fascination led me to explore the fundamentals of web development, and soon enough, I was proudly crafting a web page for the company I worked with. It was at that defining moment that I resolved to delve deeper into this exciting field and embark on a journey of learning and growth—details of which can be found in my resume.

During my leisure time, my heart finds solace in the enchanting world of music. As an amateur musician, I've been nurturing this passion for nearly 30 years, weaving melodies that resonate with my soul. Beyond music, I am an avid knowledge-seeker, always eager to embrace new skills and experiences. My appetite for learning knows no bounds, be it tinkering with repairs, mastering the art of cooking, exploring uncharted instruments, honing coding prowess, or crafting marvelous creations from scratch. And when it comes to keeping my body active and vibrant, you'll often find me running, playing basketball, or joyfully cycling through the outdoors.

The serendipitous love that intertwined my life with that of my Spanish wife led me to the picturesque lands of Europe, where I decided to settle in Astigarraga, Gipuzkoa, Spain. Here, amidst the beauty and safety of this charming place, I cherish witnessing the heartwarming growth of my two little ones, as they explore the wonders of the world around them.

I have been working as a Python developer since 2019 on various types of projects, primarily as a backend developer and web developer using Flask, Django, and FastAPI. What truly interests me is creating solutions that integrate different fields of software engineering. I am particularly passionate about integrating different services and microservice architectures, leveraging cloud tools to create scalable and optimized solutions. I am a collaborative team player who is always proactive and thrive in diverse team environments—in fact, I prefer it. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, occasionally playing music with friends, and playing basketball.

My work focuses on the development, maintenance, and expansion of services and applications at Chekin. I am responsible for tasks including backend development, infrastructure maintenance and expansion, and integration with third-party services using both JSON and XML formats for API communication. I also work extensively with asynchronous architectures implementing RabbitMQ for message queuing and event-driven systems. In my role as a software engineer, I also maintain and conduct database-level research to obtain metrics and inspect potential system failures.
